The entire Borderlands Series is a lot of fun. People who complain about 2 and PS are just dickriding cuck burch memes. They both improved on the combat in big ways, with PS being my favorite because of the low gravity combat.

They fucked up the drop system and the hard modes, I won't argue that. But because I'm not a guy who likes grinding or NG+ it never bothered me.

Original Metal Gear on MSX didn't have much of a story. They were struggling with being able to put enough text on the storage as it was.
Shit's less convoluted than Snake's Revenge, thought it does make hell of a lot more sense.

Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake is where the story got more involved though.

I mean I personally don't like the gunplay in any of gearbox's games. Even the old brothers in arms games, it just felt off somehow. Memes and bad writing aside, I was just never a fan of borderlands. I feel like im definitely in the minority with how popular the series is though
