Xbones canceled exclusives have absolutely fuckall to do with the console sales and everything to MIcrosoft's awful practices with third-party devs. The notion that Xbone games were canceled because it wasn't selling well is even more nonsensical when you realize their upcoming console release, Scorpio literally plays Xbone games. And despite underselling compared to the PS4 it still sold more than the Wii U thanks to its third party support.. Meanwhile most third party devs outside of Platinum completely abaondoned the Wii U less than two years into the console's release.

Project CARS. Right there is a game that was crowdfunded primarily for Wii U and moved to PS4 right after it got its money. That game was a fucking scam. Admittedly, that's one of potentially only two games that ended up cancelled on the Wii U and THEN moved to PS4, but there are former Wii U exclusives moved off the system at the earliest opportunity, many of them PS4 ports. There are games that were cancelled outright for Wii U (some even by third parties) to be moved to other systems that aren't the PS4. And I can tell you first hand that there are several PC games that rushed to get out a PS4 version and ended up gutting themselves in the process.

But you know what? I've actually been keeping a running list of games the Wii U has lost. You want to know the stats?

4 recent multiplatform games have had their Wii U version cancelled, with a possible 5th ("surviving" systems include PS3/360, _Ouya_, and _Dreamcast_.)
2 planned Wii U exclusives had changed plans and went multiplat before even coming out. Both delayed the completed Wii U version for a simul-launch.
3 multiplats (that I've seen) have gotten gimped Wii U versions compared to other systems. All of these got PS3/360 versions, and were gimped in ways that weren't even technical. Just outright missing features.
3 Wii U exclusives were ported to 3DS.
2 (possibly more) were ported to Switch.
6 were ported to non-Nintendo systems.
4 games were outright moved to Switch.
2 were outright moved from Wii U to PS4, both after being crowdfunded for Wii U (admittedly, one is in limbo for any release at all.)

And on a non-Wii U note, at least 3 shooters on PC ended up fucking up their development and ultimately killed themselves in the rush to chase the PS4 train.

Mass Effect 3. Released for Wii U at $60 with no option for post-launch content, on the same day both PS3 and 360 got the entire trilogy on-disc for $30 with all DLC included. These are systems that GOT the first two games while that cut-down version of 3 was the first exposure Nintendo systems ever got to the series.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2012. Admittedly, this was actually the definitive version of the game at first and had received extra polish (due to being STRONGER than those systems), but ended up getting only one of four post-launch support packs as the devs decided not to roll out to the Wii U anymore. No reason was given.

Last is... Watch_Dogs. Okay, this is actually a filing mistake. I only have this in here because the Wii U version was delayed six months after all other platforms (PS3, 360, PS4, Xbone, PC) got it, with no real reason given. Bear in mind, this is from Ubisoft, the same company who delayed the (having ALREADY GOLD GOLD) Wii U release of the former exclusive Rayman Legends to be in-line with the now multiplat release solely because they, and I quote, "didn't want owners of the other systems to feel left out."

Wii U is a tri-core PowerPC system. That is LITERALLY what the Xbox 360 is. It's clocked slower, but runs on a newer architecture, has a better graphics card, WAY faster RAM (seriously, Wii U's RAM is crazy, it's got higher bandwidth than even the PS4 and Xbone), and also has an ARM co-processor. It's pretty much a better 360 that outperforms the PS3 without having to deal with the PS3's arcane Cell architecture.

And considering that it's able to run graphics that are on par if not better than the PS360 pair while also powering the GamePad screen (and was technically capable of running a second one even if they never used it), it's a lot more powerful than people give it credit for.

Wii U was ABSOLUTELY more powerful than either of those two systems. Versus the 360, it's literally an SNES vs. Genesis scenario: slower clock, better everything else.
