A lot of malware is incredibly difficult to detect if you aren't dealing with something purchased by a random script kiddie.

A reminder that Steam revokes game licenses based on Developer/current rights holder's request. If you wanna ree at someone, blame the fuckers who requested the Steam revocation/replacement.
Steam is in a weird middle ground where they claim they want to be a free market for vidya and are taking steps towards that, but then let Devs/publishers do bullshit like this which is a heavily anti-consumerist and anti-free market move.

Yeah, Alan Wake had RIAA fucknugget lawyers involved so it's disappeared from legitimate sources. Probably forever, since the recording industry probably expects Remedy to pay them eleven jillionty dollars to renew the license on Alan Wake's soundtrack.

GOG also yanked Fallout from the store when Bethesda-Zenimax was renegotiating contracts, but as a FUCK YOU they gave away the Fallout bundle for free for like 48 hours before they had to remove them.
