I thought it was pretty mediocre. Kept my interest long enough to clear the story but I often felt like I was just killing time rather than enjoying myself. I don't feel strongly about it either way.

Same thing with Prey and Dishonored 2. All three are good Immersive Sims.

You don't even need to ask, you know they didn't play it when you see their "arguments"

But there's also the issue with people who play those games like simple FPS, they rush to the quest markers, don't explore anything, don't try anything with the gameplay mechanics and then they complain the game was 8 hours long and boring.

It took me 49h to finish MD and some people say it's not even half a game just because it's not a self contained story.

I played it and thought it was pretty mediocre. Exploration and quests are great, but the main story is plain boring and half finished. Combat isn't much better than HRs and the stealth is the same old.

Sure it sucked if you played it for the main quest and rushed the game like a retard. Immersive sims are all about deep exploration, just like souls games.
