They're going to serve the same point as HoT masteries, they have abilities that bypass metroidvania bullshit roadblocks in maps.

Also the new maps are really big, with very few waypoints, so they're going to be mandatory if you want to get anywhere within a reasonable timeframe.

The midget is not able-bodied, she limps and can't do anything without her robot and even with it we had to save her several times, she's just very intelligent and pretentious like a lot of people from her race.

The trans NPC stands somewhere in Lion's Arch and I've never even seen him, you'd need to talk to random NPCs in the middle of nowhere or look for him specifically, it's not in your face, I'd call that marketing instead of SJW, him being there makes some people happy, the others don't see it.

The pair of lesbians is annoying but they would still be annoying even if they weren't lesbians, they're just badly written characters.

I had the same thing happen back when I wanted to try GW2 again close to the expansion. My account got stripped of all items and one of my lvl 80s was decked in full farming gear.

Put in a support ticket and got my account back but they refused to roll back the items. And that's why I will never play GW2 again.

GW2 already has a problem with how none of the professions feel really distinctive to play. They have superficial differences on how they play, sure, but ultimately everything feels the same and it really shouldn't be so in a game that tries to have action combat.

If this was a single player game then sure that would be the end, but this is supposed to be an MMO, an expansion doesn't end with a 1 hour story that releases on launch. Also guild halls do you count or classify as zones, they are literally just small empty areas for people to decorate, it's not a zone you play through or do stuff in. Original UO was great, and Darkfall (did anyone play that?) was great for the short time it lasted, it just never got a good player base. I just play vanilla and run with orange armor and play for fun, or pvp for cool armor designs.

Charr really do need more customization options. A lot of the male faces are incredibly ugly and the body fur color choices are limited. Tattoos like what the Norn get would also be nice on charr, as well as underwear options, necklaces and more visually interesting non-armor attire options

Also pretty much every class requires you to be close to the enemy to do good damage. That's pretty much one of the basics of the game. Want to do good damage? Be melee. Want to do less damage but be a lot safer? Be ranged.

Try out a lot of characters. You can test the boost as long and as many times as you want before using it permanently. Once you "use" it the first time it will port you to The Silverwastes where you can run around and do whatever there as long as you want. You don't have to be a dedicated healer with it. One of the top condition builds for it uses the Druid traitline. It has a trait called Grace of the Land that can give your party a damage buff constantly when you use Celestial Avatar abilities. This game is shitty, downtrodden with tumblrina, filled with single moms. Full of stupid endgame grinds. And lots of guild dramas, and wvw is still left unmantained with shitty pvp balance.

I don't know what made me come back to this shitty game. Maybe it's the landscape and scale of maps that pulls me in and chill all day long.

Anyone got a protip on how to grind mastery fast?

How has it improved? Is it still a mess where ranged warriors are better than archers and melee is shit tier in every single facet of the game because of the mess of overlapping indistinguishable AOE markers?

Can you still buy the best gear in the game for cheap on the marketplace and the only reason to keep progressing is to get gear that is only better in a specific instance?
