I just want Spoony to be back guys, I used to listen to his stuff on repeat all the time while playing videogames, but now it's just getting too sad.

The whole "angry dude plays videogames" shtick has always been cringeworthy, the only one that could do it well was James Rolfe because he always kept the Nerd character as separate and acted as a normal human being in every other situation, whereas Spoony and the rest acted as maximum sperglords in forums and social media, not only in their videos.

Spoony used to be so good 2007-2009. After that he hooked up with TGWTG and it all went to shit.

I was already getting soured on the Nostalgia Critic by that point, who was doing endless dumb comedy skits.
I was watching his Casper review where he was shitting on the movie for having annoying side characters while he having this obnoxious cartoon ghost flying around and I was done. But anyway.

So Spoony hooks up with TGWTG, gets convinced that Dr. Insano character is the best thing ever and starts bringing all sorts of nobody reviewers in for cameo appearances. Worse yet, he starts acting like an asshole on his website.

It's strange how a guy can be so humble in front of a camera and then turn around and act like a complete cunt on twitter or whatever. I guess that's bipolar disorder for you.
