Nah the plot is just bad. The retcons are so the series could go on forever and Nomura could shove in all kinds of bullshit. KH1's story turned out (relatively) sensible because Nomura had some reasonable people restraining him (Sakaguchi), KH2 is where he went full retard.

Obviously the games have a story, you complete imbecile. It's just that the story doesn't matter. Pick up a fucking dictionary and look up the definition of "irrelevant". Shit gets retconned and refitted as needed. Nomura plays a round of scrabble and picks the words that gave him the most points as the theme of his next game, by mentioning those words in every second dialog. Seasalt and Icecream? I have a great idea for a plot!

You can live in denial as much as you want, but the "story" in KH is garbage. Nomura can make good combat systems, but god damn is he awful at handling franchises.
