What was the point of this option here if Booker is definitively a good guy? Examples being: Later a negro waiter offers you a drink on a platter, if you take it Booker says thanks. After that you can catch a negro waiter sneaking a smoke, he starts bumbling and apologizing saying someone gave it to him etc etc and Booker says "hey pal, smoke em if you got em"

There's no logic behind anything in the game.
If I had to guess I'd say throwing it at the nigger makes him fit in, so his cover hypothetically wouldn't be blown (it is anyway though as you know).

Aye, yeah, I mean I know the choice is pointless, just trying to rationalize it in Booker's mind. He doesn't say anything like if you throw it at Fink, so maybe you're right.

But yeah I guess clearly Booker is not a racist he just doesn't care that much, he'd rather maintain his cover/work with Fink.
Even if the game had some very major flaws I still fairly enjoyed it to be honest. Liked the environment as well.

Yeah, and it's aged super well. It really surprised me to find out how old it actually is.

In hindsight I don't find it as terrible as I originally thought. I mean it is missing the hacking mini-game, and multiple ammo types, and it's far more linear, but still not absolutely irredeemable garbage. The theme and story up until Fink is top knotch IMO.

If he would've wanted to fit in, he'd have hidden the mark that the billboards all indicated to be the mark of the betrayer or some shit.

That part yeah, it did not make sense, but I think a lot of the point of the game was that it was all pre-determined. One way or another he was getting outed, so maybe it didn't register properly in his brain or some shit.

Another thing I've thought about is, Comstock knew he was Booker, and that Booker was Booker, why didn't he just come out and say this shit instead of fighting him.
