What''s with all the hate /v/ keeps spouting? Instead of shitting on something, what are some games that YOU like?
>>378234248
I like Crysis, but 2 and 3 are shit I hate them.
I also hate Halo 2/3/ODST/Reach/4/5 they're shit Halo CE is better
/v/ has never liked games but it's practically impossible to discuss anything anymore with how much shitposting there is now. The only people who liked games left to /vg/ and became a circlejerk.
>>378234406
I can somewhat understand the Crysis part but why do you hate on the later Halo games? Personally I find 3 to be one of my all time favorites.
I like Das2 better than Das1.
/v/ is for shitposting, actual discussion belongs on reddit or /vg/
>>378234248
Just started playing the first disgaea on pc it's pretty good so far the only bad part is that full-screen doesn't work for some reason.
>>378234248
I like metroid a lot. halo is cool too. currently I'm playing through some ps3 games i missed when they were new. lots of good stuff there
>>378234248
Fallout 4
>>378234894
The later titles couldn't match the gun balance, aesthetics, atmosphere and OST of the first one. Halo CE is a masterpiece.
3 comes second.
>>378234248
I really like OneShot
>>378234248
Installed MGSV:TPP recently and it has some of the best gameplay I have ever witnessed.
Knew the story was crap and the main protagonist barely ever speaks so replaced him with a qt female operator. Also modded in 150 qt female operators for my army and am now role-playing in "Charlie's Angels gone rogue" style, really enjoying it.
Its great not caring about a game's story for once.
>>378234248
I like Asagi!
>>378235419
Hello there.
>>378234248
I think monster hunter is the greatest game series of all time. I really love tactics games, X-COM is great. Path of exile is also one of the greatest games I've ever played, the people who made that game are actually geniuses.
>>378234248
I really like For Honor. The community got bigger with each patch and it doesn't have many connection issues anymore.
>>378234248
Sexual frustated white boys
>>378235681
GET OUT TODD
recently played:
Tropico 4
Thimbleweed park
inside
witcher 2
trine trilogy
Got Prey recently and that's been pretty fun so far. It's like everything the Bioshock series should have been.
>>378234406
Allow me to elaborate. Crysis is honestly one of the best games I've ever played. The aesthetics, atmosphere, enemy AI and weapon balance are all perfect. You can also look down and see your feet.
>>378234406
>>378234894
I sure hope that by balance you mean the campaign.
Because jesus christ the magnum ruined multiplayer.
>>378235432
Well, I suppose that's reasonable.
>>378235628
Same here.
I really like Rainbow Six Siege
Even with all its problems including but not limited to the network issues, it's really fun.
However I don't get why people get so mad about it, especially in casual mode.
There's a ranked mode, why don't you go play there if you want people to take the game seriously, instead of wasting your life on crying that people don't follow your idea of meta in fucking casual?
Hell, if you're so upset by your team being such shitters, why don't you get some people together and queue as a team? That's what I do.
In short:
The game is good, the only good UBI game in forever
The randoms are shit, play with a premade group
>>378234248
I like Initial D Extreme Stage a lot, I practically shill almost daily a 8 years old game.
>>378236504
Asagi kicked my ass in Can I really be the Prinny.
I lovehate that game, I should play it again.
>>378234248
Shut the fuck up, weeb. You're just pissed that people have better taste than you.
I play lots of Mechwarrior Living Legends. The game is the best mechwarrior game, with things like playable battle armour, aerospace and tanks too. It doesn't have many players though.
>>378234248
Better to shit on games than to be a braindead retard that will happily slurp up shit and like it.
Blaster Master Zero; levels are cool, music's nice, sprites in cutscenes are gorgeous, you get a screen obliterating laser and a giant beam of death. Pretty fuckin fun game.
Also played some of the original Doom again, and have stopped for the same reason I did originally: it scares the shit out of me. Really fucking fun though.
>>378237067
That's the PS3 game ain't it, was somewhat interested in getting it myself: what would you say makes it so great?
I really like Darks Souls 2 sotfs.
I like Dawn of War 3 for the most part.
I just wish there wasn't the ESCALATION nonsense. Once the enemy gets ahead, they stay ahead.
>>378234248
splatoon is in my top 5 games of all time, and depending on the day i'll even put it in first place
>>378237565
Have you tried destroyer mode yet?
I like SMT, whole thing including Persona off series.
I like all total war games, even rome 2 but after patches.
I like call of duty games, except infinite/advanced warfare because those just failed to hit the spot.
Majority of jap games as long as it's not an annoying grind simulator.
I like all fire emblem games but original and Gaiden, I played those way too late i think.
I actually like new attack on titan opening.
Bioshock had fantastic gameplay, guns felt really good and using """bad""" vigors was still satisfying and useful even on 1999 mode.
Modded skyrim is probably the best modern RPG experience you can have.
Despite being Polish I don't like Witcher series but I don't sperg about it and enjoy listening about the universe despite it's overall silliness
The game i enjoyed the most in my life was probably Endless Space Disharmony and now Endless Space 2.
Guessing killer in Danganronpa series before the trial, or rather trying to do so was great fun despite failing a lot. I love that series too.
When playing competitive games i love the experience of meeting people, the best it ever felt was Dota2 and meeting various people with diffrent playstyles and helping them out without sperging but also improving on my main by seeing other people play him.
I love Payday2 and played 500 hours of that thing, looking forward to PD3.
Day of Defeat was my favourite Goldensource mod and i want it to get CSGO treatment.
I loved all fable games despite the promises about 3.
>>378237565
I poured about 600 hrs+ into it myself, playing offline and online. I was playing online a lot the first year I got it, but nowaday it's difficult just to get to do one online ranking race
I think all of these games are great
Dark Souls 2
Metal Gear Solid 4
Valkyria Chronicles 2
Final Fantasy Type-0
>>378237918
Yeah, it's slightly frustrating at times, but still pretty fun; I should get back to playing it, only played a little under half of it.
I've playing a lot of games I missed out on while growing up as of late. I really like Planescape: Torment so far!
Currently really enjoying Smash 4, Guilty Gear (excited for the PC release of Rev 2), and Blaz Blue! Going to a Smash tournament tomorrow and I'm excited to go have sushi afterwards with people there.
>>378237345
Nobody's pissed here except you, friendo.
>>378237270
I've been Prinny 1 but never went to finish 2. I should probably hit that up.
>>378237528
Or you know, actually enjoy something you like.
>>378242041
you get to play As Asagi in Prinny 2s Alt mode.
And all the bosses are Asagi.
Its called Asagi Wars.
>>378241848
>Going to a Smash tournament
Have fun Anon.
I think Quake 1 and Super Metroid are the two greatest games ever. I wish I had the skill to bring the exploration and discovery of Metroid to Quake 1's universe.
>>378242252
Thanks anon, that's the plan! Although I also have fat stacks I need to win.
>>378242221
Yeah I've heard. Can't wait to play through that once I start my playthrough
I like The Legend of Legacy.
I'm playing FE:Echoes right now and I'm liking it a lot too.
I like Oblivion and Dark Souls.
Tonight I'm either gonna play Super Paper Mario or Dark Souls 2 with mygirlfriend.
I like Bayonetta. Fun series and the lore is interesting.
>>378234248
I like Asagi's game.
Furi
Hyper Light Drifter
Hollow Knight
Momodora: Reverie under moonlight
Ori and the Blind Forest
Overwatch
Bayonetta (I like the game but i have some really annoying performance issues)
Are the most resent games i have played and liked.
>>378244505
Almost forgot Nier: Automata
>A tread about liking games being this slow
Please change /v/
>>378245234
Okay.
I like Transformers Devastation. I know it sold like shit, but I hope we get a sequel with a Decepticon campaign.Seriously, don't tease me with fucking Superion and not make a fucking sequel.
I started playing FFXIV casually again what with the expansion coming and all.
Game's still comfy as heck and Krile a cute.
In recent years?
Sayonara Umihara Kawase
Brandish the Dark Revenant
Tearaway
Dragon's Crown
Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
htoL#NiQ
Yomawari
A Rose In The Twilight
Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen
Gravity Rush
Gravity Rush 2
Nier Automata
Bloodborne
Fatal Frame 5
Bayonetta 2
Kid Icarus Uprising
Resident Evil Revelations
Eh, I still like some games I guess.
>>378247008
>Odin Sphere Leifthrasir
WHY is this game still full priced?
How big of a jump is there from D2 to D3 in terms of system requirements?
>>378247214
Is it? It's just about a year old now.
