When did you play it last? Another developer overhauled it in 2013 with the "Directors Cut" edition and there's fan made patches to fix things like resolution. Things like driving are still wonky but it's stable

Am I doing something wrong because the game is unstable as fuck.Having to switch to window-mode in order not to crash in some cutscenes or the game randomly crashing are becoming too common.Even with older compatibility modes.

Be sure to install the mod. It fixes the framerate issues. Maybe even load times. Really helped my PC experience of the game.
