I only like it for the mystery dungeon series and the gay pokeporn. I haven't cared for the mainline series in ages.

It's shit and creatively bankrupt. i have zero hopes for it. Gen 3 (minus HG/SS) was the last tolerable gen.

Anything after gen 2 is bad.

At least Nintendo made Pokémon GO, so they might just go back to the classics on new games.

I'll probably buy the next Mystery Dungeon, because SMD was way better than GTI, but the series peaked at BW2 and Explorers, with HGSS being the best remake in the series and FRLG still being significantly better than ORAS. Super Mystery Dungeon is sadly the only Pokemon game from gen 6 onward that is better than any single release from gen 5 and earlier, and beating GTI isn't particularly good. Essentially, the series died when they started releasing 3DS games.
