>have severe hyperhidrosis and social anxiety
>last night I went to my first local sm4sh tournament to try and be more social doing something I enjoy
>walk in
>at least 25+ people there
>feel the sweat starting
>about an hour into it, I’m wiping my forehead every five minutes
>the back of my grey shirt is a different color at this point
>face engulfed by my damn rosacea
>feel incredibly awkward because of this even though on the inside I have never been this happier in a social setting
Big family dinners, work parties, etc… I understand my social anxiety in theses environments. Why does my body/mind continue to put up these walls in every situation of my life, even the ones I thoroughly enjoy.

Go to a doctor for anxiety or possibly botox shots to stop all the sweating.
Also don't wear gray shirts.
Also wear undershirts to catch the sweat and wear a nice collared shirt over them. Like the guy pictured, but just with a plain white or black shirt underneath.

What helps me is waiting outside for a bit for my body to get accustomed to the temperature, before going in.
I don't have a hyperhidrosis diagnosis though.

buy clinic strength
apply it 30 minutes before putting on a shirt
stopped me sweating through my shirt at work because i was super nervous for the first couple of weeks
Talc up, boi
You'll be fine
Social anxiety like that is normally for new experiences, perservere for a few weeks and you should be good to go
Stick with it, don't be afraid, in a month or two they will all know you and some might even like you.
so long as you are clean its not like the sweat is stinking, right? you probably worry more about it than necessary. some people sweat more. if you don't smell like ass who cares. BO is a different problem i think. and stinky feet, its caused by certain bacteria, not just sweating.

I have hyperhidrosis too and live in Australia, shits bad. I wear formal shirts with a good colored undershirt though and as long as I don't hit the gym jn my work clothes, it solves everything except sometimes the underarm.

I sweat a lot too but I just have to take a seat and cool down a bit.
I guess stop being overweight would help me a lot.
