At the very beginning of the game, take the Shield and give up the Sword. You'll get a lot of useful abilities early on, like Guard. It's a great way to ease yourself into the combat system. Also, magic in KH1 is busted, so abuse it always.

Those have the Final Mix versions of the games, which add extra bells and whistles like more bosses (ESPECIALLY in KH2's case), abilities, and weapons. They also have fully orchestrated soundtracks, which is fucking fantastic.

The only one up for debate is 2. there are some issues with specific reaction commmands at the PS4's 60 fps, and apparently a rare save corrupting bug. these arent in the HD version on PS3 though, because it runs at 30. Im going through 2 again this level 1 run is killing me, in Tron's world now on PS4 and its incredible at 60.
