Biggest issue with the game. A weaker melee that doesn't drain your fuel would've been nice so we actually have a reason to zip around and punch things, but instead we got a 'Rape Enemy' button that puts all your good shit on cooldown so you might as well never use it.

You use it to find a safe spot in a corner.
Your melee attack is a one shot kill on almost anything that's not a boss, if you're about to overheat already, the smartest thing to do is kill an isolated enemy with a melee and grab the cover that's now momentarily safe.

You don't use it if you want you, to use it when you need to.

This game is beautiful, the bullet time is integrated amazingly well into the shooting, sliding through levels lighting shit up is awesome and the pacing is fine. The few QTEs there are pretty easy and don't ruin your shit like in bayonetta. The game grading you lower for using cover is a nice way to push you to being reckless, which is very rewarding.
The only point I'll agree on is that it's too short, but it's very replayable.
This game is fantastic, get over it.

Even if you do, Viewtiful Joe series were both on Nintendo and Sony consoles. Okami is on PS2, later ported/remade for PS3 and the Wii. Only Sony exclusive game is God Hand anybody with a less than half decent rig can emulate that game.

instead of picking up the chestdrops to refill ammo, drop the weapon you wish to upgrade and replace that slot with something you dont use, then pick up the chest drop which will give you full ammo for that weapon you wanted to upgrade, then go back and upgrade with what you originally dropped

An actual health indicator would be nice. You can get ripped apart really fast in the open which is fair even if everything focuses on you immediately, but I can never tell if I can take a scrape or a few hits before falling over dead. If you have slowmo up its almost a get out of jail free card to do whatever.

I agree that melee actually needs a use beyond last ditch effort or look really flashy on the last few enemies. It's annoying restrictive what you can do with it despite having a lot of different melee options. If it took a quarter or even half a bar it would have been so much better. Any chance we will see this as a mod?

Also it would be nice if the game didn't decide to fuck you over with dumb things when it feels like it. webm fucking related.
