The Steam Survey frequently detects Linux with Wine as Windows. Its possible there's some game that needs Wine configured to pretend its Vista to operate .
Most commonly though you get detected as Windows XP.

After six months of Windows 10 I found it to be less responsive and overall more of a pain than 7. I hoped the Creator's Update would bring major improvements but it didn't.
