Here's the fact of the matter. Getting a C&D is a courtesy. No company ever is required to send you a C&D, the second you start uploading anything they have every right to take your ass to court. Most don't because boy that creates a lot of bad publicity, but it can happen in a fucking heartbeat. If you're going to open yourself up to that kind of legal action, you might as well fucking release a finished product and hope for the best.
