Does /v/ even knows the real meaning of the word 'Shovelware'
>>378079472
Usually licensed games based on a separate property, hastily developed and released for a quick buck, sold on market recognition alone.
Games on a system that I don't like.

Essentially it means software that's defined by its quanitity, not quality.

Announced games stuck in development hell?
3/4 of the PS2 library.
And I'm not saying that to shit on the PS2, I fucking loved that console, ot gave us countless classics. But unless you dig deep, you really don't know just how much pure shit was churned out for that thing to take advantage that fucking everyone had the console.
Anything Phoenix Games made qualifies

them PS2 bargain bins

>Shovelware
Poorly made software that barely works, isn't any real fun to play, starts off in the bargain bin, and goes to the trash from there.
When brick and mortar still mattered, cheap, mass produced crap would be first to moved to the dumpster once something actually decent came out.
Today, you don't see too many garbage games in physical retail. Most shitware devs have done mobile or web.

You should know by now that any word with negative meaning just becomes "game I don't like"
