Doing Baiken's new counter stance from blockstun is harder than using her old guard-cancels on defense ever was, though. Now you have to catch an attack in the stance while choosing to high or low and when done out of blockstun the parry window is only active from frames 1-3, ontop of having to worry about being baited like you did in AC. Kirei tatami is also done the same way, while tk youzansen got a bit harder.

They do both block mids but the 3 frame active window out of blockstun is what really makes it hard to utilize on defense. In neutral it's a really strong tool if you can get a good read since Baiken gets great damage, corner carry, and oki off of it but the red parry timing on defense means you're getting blown up if your timing is event slightly off. The opponent could even just delay a gatling on accident and blow you up. It's really just gonna be for the hardest of reads or really telegraphed oki like if Ky drops a charged stun edge on you, and even in that case you're not really getting out.

Play her with the mentality of tower defense. Place/Throw houses off screen then poke and annoy your opponent with 6K, j.D, 2H among other things. 3H might be tempting since it has good properties but use it sparingly as it is easy to punish.

Placing houses off screen limits your opponent's options since they have to deal with the minions coming in with the source away from view. Never shy away in using her pillar overdrive, since houses will keep churning ghosts during the animation. It also forces your opponent to stop and block, allowing the ghosts to come in and pressure them.

Remember that she also has a command grab, so you get to punk your opponent. Use this in combination with 5D (a universal overhead)and youre golden. She's overall easy execution wise, but shes actually quite hard to use effectively because her gameplan revolves around proper placement of houses, how to stall your opponent while houses generate ghosts, and how to use resources to keep opponents from ruining them.

Yes, GG scene is very strong here. The place where the FGC gathers is called Playbook. If your Revelator is updated you only have to download and install the Rev2 dlc from PSN. At least that's how I did it on PS3.
