>game was actually all a dream
What a fucking copout. No wonder JRPGs are dying.
>>377987910
dream in this context basically means another dimension
7/10 pretty good one honestly
>>377987910
Pretty long dream m8, kinda weird how we all had the same one huh?

>I understood 10% of the game so now I'll go make a shitty thread on /v/ so they can explain it to me

>Bloodbourne
>JRPG
In Bloodborne's universe the dreaming world is probably more dangerous than being awake. Have fun inceptioning too deep and getting stuck in a nightmare hellscape. The ending where you wake up is the best outcome. Otherwise you either become the undying slave to a mysterious eldritch abomination or lose your humanity to become one yourself.
Paleblood, not even once
Dreams are a prominent subject in hp Lovecraft's stuff. Look up Dream Cycle, for example.

>RPG made by the Japanese
>not JRPG
>>377987910
Yeah same, and like where did the aliens all come from? I thought I was getting a proper gothic/vampire god of war clone
>>377987910
the only part of this game thats a dream is the hub world i.e. The Hunter's Dream and after defeating The One Reborn when you enter Micolash's dreamworld; Nightmare of Mensis, up until you kill Mergo's Wet Nurse where it says "Nightmare Slain".
But like >>377988000 said a dream in bloodborne basically means another dimension, read up on lovecraft
