The worst part is that those same people are the ones who complained about the lack of traditional stages. What the fuck are you talking about? Mega Man levels are more than just linear corridors and jumping over pitfalls. There's actual layout and obstacle design in those games. Cuphead's platforming levels are just walk straight, shoot and endless spawning enemies, and jump over pitfalls that have enemies that pop out from the ground.
