Anon, I think you're the retard. The other guy mentioned NPCs not referring to you as the chosen one. GM was just a title that caused players to respect you, but NPCs didn't change. As for legendaries, same deal applies. No matter what you had, you were still generic merc #1000 to the NPCs.

Nowadays you start up Legion and within 5 minutes you're the leader of your class and are wielding an ancient weapon.

Not so much on the odd jobs outside of fighting, but you are one hero among many from a guild, not really a chosen one. Though, it is noticeable that the further you get into it, everything increasingly revolves around you.
