It has wolves and alien spiders, though I know that's nothing. It also has enemy AI drones. There is a small chance we could get NPCs in the future, though that's only because they're in Medieval Engineers.

Gmod is a "Jack of all trades" game, yes, but it does have engine limitations, which is why spacebuild maps aren't very realistic. SE is like Spacebuild 2.0.

As it is, it's a big empty sandbox you fill with your autism. When it becomes something resembling a game, maybe it'll be worth a play.

I wouldn't hold out hope for any of it. When devs try to knead features into old prototypes instead of refactoring or starting anew to fit the scope of said features, it will languish and inevitably putter out as it becomes a mass of compromises that fails to accommodate both the old and new designs.

They're showing progress in their update videos. They've only released minor updates recently, but are working on major performance enhancements that they'll release sooner or later in a major update. Just look at the WIP footage of the fleet of large ships in this video, running on a budget PC.
