Hawkgirl was from the crossover episodes setting up Legends of Tomorrow. The crossover from this past season with all 4 shows was fucking horrendous. Just watch as you please and ignore the crossover shit at around the halfway mark, it was a total sham and none of the shows dedicated more than like 5 minutes a piece to it. I definitely wouldn't recommend watching Supergirl for it so just go in knowing she appears in The Flash a couple times and just go with it. Also don't know why you'd ever want to suffer through Arrow, but that's a separate matter.
