The only games I've ever bothered to play are 1 and 2. The massive amount of sequels on a bunch of different systems plus making sure that ever game that came out for the series added to an already convoluted story kept me away from the series.

Will I be confused if I jump right into 3? Cause I can guarantee that's what 95% of people who've barely played the games will do when it launches.

The combat is not good it's terrible there is only 1 game in this whole series where the combat isn't rolling around like a dumbass while spamming leaf bracer cure that's the second game but even that game's gameplay is average at best

It's the sixth game in a series of jrpgs. Each of those games is like 30 hours.

You would be jumping into a single continious story about 150 hours in.

Kingdom hearts is unique but the writing is awful and the gameplay is pretty bad even kh2fms gameplay is OK at best the games have too many cutscenes telling a shitty story and annoying cringy minigames with gimmicky combat and overused linear worlds with nothing to do other than fight in them
