I played the first game about a month ago and it was very good. Having heard so much praise for the second game my expectations might have been a bit too high. I just feel it's a lot worse than the first one, it's boring. All the new characters are shit, and uninteresting and I can't even play with my waifu Liara. I don't feel like finishing this honestly, the story doesn't interest me enough.

So question: I just got done with the sand world in Mass Effect: Andromeda and still need to finish up side missions and the Salarian ark + the last planet. How far am I from the end at this point?

It has "safe" combat, that unfortunately did a lot of damage to the world design in the game. Also, biotic powers are a complete let down. The fact they only do flat damage to shielded/armored targets was a stupid idea.

Biotics are overpowered as hell in ME1. Especially as an adept with the Bastion specialization you can breeze through Insanity.
Too bad they did shared cooldowns and made enemies with armor/shields immune to biotic effects in ME2 and ME3. Good thing that there are mods for it.
