Did you play the game? This whole mission with these realistic ai dolls gets really dark. The guy was bases them off of real women and sells them to just about anyone can buy one and do whatever he wants to them. Most of the people who buy them are super neets or weird creeps who don't leave their house and spend their time on the Edin all day. Edin is basically an advanced VR digital world. These kind of customers is what the business guy is looking for. He can easily get his group to follow the doll's signal to the owners house, break in with his group, and kidnap the customer's body while they're still in the Edin's VR. The person will have his mind trapped in cyber space forever while they use the bodies they stole for human trafficking or organ harvesting. This particular mission shows one teen not even realizing he was still in Edin, and he had believed that he was in his room with the dolls for weeks. He refuses to believe you and so you just leave him be since it's better to have him live in blissful ignorance, instead of stuck in cyber space realizing he can never go home. At the end of the quest you're given one last scene with the guy trapped in Cyber space. He stopped talking to the dolls and tries to log out just to be safe. The very last thing we see is the Edin logs saying "error" and the screen fading to black.

They are mostly sold to men for for obvious reasons and the game doesn't skirt behind this. The entire mission is based around exploiting perverted loners and neets with sex dolls so they can harvest their organs. The real Nokia doesn't have sex but the dolls based off of her appearance certainly are. It adds an extremely dark tone to the story because not only are people being tricked into having their organs harvested while their minds are busy in cyber space VR, but the fact that there is a couple of sex intelligent sex dolls being passed around in the black market. It's even darker if a sex tape of one of the fakes ever gets out and someone like Nokia who some of the models are based off of has her entire life ruined because she has no way of proving it's not her.

MC isn't canon with anyone. The closest thing to a love interest would be Nokia and or Yuuko and that's reaction, simply because they're just really good friends with the MC and rely on him a lot. You could pass Nokia off as being really playful or Yuuko being tsundere but they never went far with that. Nokia is just hyper active and naturally looks sexual, despite her opposite personality.
