The real reason laptops are shit for gaming isn't just that the hardware is generally weaker (which is also true)

The problem is that the compact design means the ventilation in a laptop is much poorer than a conventional desktop PC and even if you position your shit for optimal airflow it's going to constantly overheat and this will drastically reduce the lifespan of the hardware so after 2 years tops you'll begin to notice it run significantly worse than before in various ways

Turn on triple buffering and v sync, that should take a load off a bit, also think about putting on power saver mode. This is all assuming you have a "good" gaming laptop to begin with and your shit isn't just incapable of running it properly without shitting itself

You have to stack magnets, the negative will draw the heat out, and transfer it to the positive magnet, which will then get absorbed by the next negative, and so forth and so on.

Actually, gayman laptops have very good cooling these days, and the only "weaker" hardware is the processor, since Intel won't board the desktop-parts-in-laptops train. Haven't seen mine go past 66° once, and the only time it's touched 66°, was with Witcher 3 maxed out with a 5% GPU overclock so I could keep a solid 60fps without dipping into the 50s.

akshually it does do something, just very little. If the heat sink is maintaned at lower temperature than the hot machine it will absorb more heat by radiation from the machine than it radiates back at it. But this effect is very small.
