My bet is on DDO getting a localization and Itsuno's new game being DMC related with an E3 announcement.

Reason why I think that is because having an Online game running on the DD engine and then having DD2 come out is kind of weird. You have this Online game you're still supporting, then you go and release DD2; which just makes DDO look like old and busted next to new hotness DD2. You don't want to have some kind of competition when you're trying to sell both.

At the same time I don't really think Itsuno's game will be DMC5 though, I think the concept of a DMC5/DmC2 is dead. DMC will come back, but I think there will be some kind of "twist" on it. Knowing Capcom, people will probably be pissed in some way.

This is actually good news. This basically deconfirms DD2 which makes DMC5 the best possibility. I feel kinda bad for DDfags though, having to buy the same game 4 times with new content being only added once. Maybe they'll localize DDO eventually.

That depends: Would Daimon actually be able to beat the Seneschal? Seneschal could probably just unmake him, he does have that kind of power over life. It doesn't matter though, because Daimon can't leave BBI. I'd say that it has a much more "refined" gameplay aspect in terms of how the classes interact and are balanced out. There aren't any drastically OP or weak classes as compared to original DD, and every class has worthwhile augments and skills to use.
I personally enjoy the world, they do a good job of telling the story through the environment like having petrified corpses in front of a Medusa lair and such. And despite the lackluster visuals, they at least have some nice vistas to look at instead of the more mundane areas of DD.
The biggest issue I think is that the story and pacing is pretty subpar, and while you can play it like the normal grand adventure style, most people will focus mostly on efficiency and doing the missions that give the best rewards and simply repeat those, so have fun convincing others to simply wander around and poke your head into dungeons.

Use the same class as your pawn for the first few levels to teach them how to not be retarded.

Make or hire a buff mage pawn, getting elements on your weapons makes things a lot easier early. (You can still hire pawns offline btw, they're just NPCs not other players' pawns.)
Don't make a tiny or massive character, both have weaknesses that outweigh their strengths in a first playthrough.
