no. they forcibly shut down the still-available 1 and 2 servers that were officially hosted, to promote tribes ascend, then hi-rez, in a move that surprised only people who didn't learn from global agenda, dropped tribes ascend and stopped supporting it entirely to move to smite. It hasn't had an update in 2 or 3 years. Servers are still up but it's about as lively as planetside 2, maybe a couple hundred players on a weekend.

apparently not. It seems like his head is in the right place, because f2p elements are something that would have ruined the game, but I think that he forgot to filter out the retards and only look for constructive criticism. There's 0 money to be made in the b2p hero shooter market. overwatch literally has it 100% locked down. They could make a push to get in on consoles before paladins but it seems like they're giving up on that. So who the fuck knows.

It feels like a mobile game, everything about it is so amateurish, the menus, the UI, the gameplay, it's just plain bad.

Its pretty ok from what I saw over my 2 hours of gameplay desu, there is almost no hitscan weapons I think, most of them have slight bullet travel time, health pool is pretty big unless you run light classess, everyone has some movement ability except the rocket launcher guy but he can just rocket jump as he has pretty big health pool.

I'm not gonna call it BEST GAEM EVAH or TRIBES SUCCESSOR or any other bullshit, I just didnt play it enough because I didn't have the time.
It has potential, shame about the B2P however, dead on arrival because of that.

The art direction and tone of this game is on the opposite end of Battleborn and Borderlands. It lacks self-awareness, the characters look like they were conceptualized by a 15 year old, the writing is full of "FUCK YAAEAH" "EAT DIS" and the gameplay is something between an arena shooter and Titanfall.

I will be surprised if this doesn't tank within months of the release.
