gernades are great burst heals, and aoe, helps with duels, brings up tanks faster if they are almost dead.
The biggest thing you need to worry about really is making sure you don't run out of ammo when your dps is in trouble.

Find a good angle that you can take cover, but also not be obstructed to do your job. Don't be afraid to get into the thick of things either, even if you technically have a sniper rifle.
The dart will come with practice. The sound que comes right before she fires, so the enemy can react.

She's not as hard as it seems really.

I mean sure some heroes are easy to pick up and wrap your head around. But it's silly to say it takes "no skill." Every game I've ever played with /v/ has a bunch of tryhards that turn out to be mediocre at best. I'll never forget playing Monster Hunter with /v/ for the first time and seeing the entire room cart over and over. I learned the art of carrying from then on.

I think that's why I like Overwatch. No matter how hard you try, it's almost impossible to carry single handedly. And team mates do the dumbest shit, and can't assess a major threat worth a damn. It's therapeutic to witness the downfall of a game and know exactly why you're losing. Maybe I'm just a masochist though.

As a healer main I really wish it was so, but first there are a lot of Mercy mainers, and I constantly see people insta-locking healers/tanks in competitive (at least in high Plat/low Diamond).
But if no one mains DPS and HAS to switch to DPS anyway (because everyone is a tank/healer main), you are going to have really bad time. That's why I'm thinking about learning DPS next (right now I'm a Zenyatta/D.Va/Winston main)

Same, there's no barrier to entry. Just play some podcast or music in the background and jump into competitive, It's all familiar and simple, whereas engaging myself in a single player experience takes more effort. It's a profound kind of laziness, I can't remember the last time I played a proper single player game for more than 2 hours at a time (I think it was Witcher 3, and I still haven't played through all the expansions for that)

No real player likes Overwatch. If you pug you get matched for a 50 % win rate. If you win too much you get a team which is too stupid to do anything and vice versa.

If you play with a group it is the same as solo q but with the difference, that the game knows which group is better and which is worse before the game begins.

If you think Blizzard can't fake matches:
>have two Mercy mains in the same group
>have a Sym main in one group and a Pharah main in the other group
>have a 60 % accuracy Tracer in one and a 35 % in the other group
>have a Winston main in one group and a Roadhog in another group
>put people who are low gm in a high gm game


there are so many ways to manipulate the match making that Blizzard knows exactly who is winning before the game starts. Aren't you wondering why the "elo hell" even exists? Because if you aren't an aim botter or a no lifer Blizzard knows after you are level 25 exactly how good you are and can rank you how they like you to be.

Aren't you wondering why so many huge streamers are in gm? Btw most big streamers are really bad but they are still kind of "stuck" in gm even if they play shit. The reason is Blizzard gave those people a priority to get matched with better players and against worst players than normally. In really bad cases Blizzard is even hard carrying you as a big streamer. They completely change the values for you so you are more like just "in for the ride" while the other 5 are literally able to win because they get matched against 6 noobs (the worst people in the rank that are available). It is even possible that Blizzard employees are playing themselves and just "throwing" the game without you noticing (like playing hyper aggressive or picking heroes who are completely shit against your team).

Don't forget that Overwatch is a mediocre game where Blizzard is trying everything to fake a hype. Just watch Angry Joes review of Overwatch and Battleborn and you see the Fake Hype
