Also, Outlast 2 strips the antagonist's Christianity of political context - they're weird subhumans living in isolation. Montana is a large place with lots of empty land, but it's not really remote in the way a Far Cry game needs to be. Even in the remotest part of Montana you are only gong to be a couple days walking at most from an actual town. I give them credit for doing new settings with this and Primal, but this just doesn't seem interesting to me.
