there's a reason why 40% of all wii owners owned wii sports (what the console came with) and nothing else
they played drums duing the boxing mini game, they tried clicking on things in the menu only to get frustrated, and they got sick of having to actually move around just so they could awkwardly control the game character

No one liked motion control from the very beginning, but Nintendo had to keep """innovating""" and shoved it in all their games, pretty much the only games that weren't first party that actually used the motion control were shovelware
