It's like the 'type' of attack they use. Each Servant has 6 cards they use to attack during turns -bottom right of picture related-. so an Arts servant usually has 2/3 Arts cards +Arts Noble Phantasm.

You have Quick, Arts and Buster cards. Noble Phantasm use these 3 too.

Each turn you pick 3 cards, and if they are of the same type, you get a bonus. also, the first card you pick has some minor effects on the later ones, but don't mind it for now, it's minimal stuff
