Gmod still peaks at 60k players monthly and it is not going anywhere.

There is dozens of worthwhile gamemodes, it is worth every cent, though you need to have css and hl2 installed to avoid having missing textures everywhere.

also mute the squeakers, kids love this game

RP servers can be fun. just look for exploits in the games rules to fuck with people

I made a megabase outside of spawn that would block off a very popular passageway and force everyone going through it into a blackout crouch maze. we would also have boomboxes on top of the maze playing moonman and other types of meme music. Everyone hated it, even the mods, but they couldnt do shit about it.

>cant even walk to the PD to buy armor without some fucktard hitting me with half a magazine in a "crossfire" or a donator stabbing me with his instakill knife
>server rules say you dont have to advert raids
>get griefed constantly if I own a base anyway, non-raid classes constantly starting shit
>eventually donators teleport through my walls and stab my gang with their instakill weapons, then I come back to shoot them out thinking its another griefing episode ("master raider" skins are indistinguishable from several other non-raid skins)
