Wacraft 3's lore was good but not deep. Vanilla wow added a lot of interesting things. On TBC they started to realize that they couldn't take the game where they wanted while keeping the lore intact, but they still tried to keep things cohesive. From that point onward it was retcons and lore rapes one after another

Souls lorefags are the worst. Well maybe not the worst, you're a step above ponyfags and furries but not by much.

The game just has general world building, gives you an idea and sense of things, that's it. There's no concrete lore or story.
