Vidya was always my escapism in life ever since I was a little kid. I had very few friends, and I could hardly ever hang out with them outside of school due to how far apart we lived. Also our strict private school was extremely anti-fun so I could never talk to them outside recess. If I didn't have vidya perhaps I might have found a more useful hobby but I don't think it's the worst hobby out there. But somedays you feel burned out. Those are the days to find something else to do for a while. But I always come back to vidya. Also I'm getting old and my reaction times for games are getting slow. Hence I'm moving to turn based strategy games to keep my mind going.

Well they took some time to find out their interests and hobbies, then worked some really shitty part time jobs and used that as motivation so they would never have to do that ever again.
I knew a guy that would work 12 hour shifts at a warehouse then go to uni classes that morning. When I asked him why he did that he said "Because when I work at those places, and see how awful that shit is, I realize that I can do so many other things.
