Nah, they're working for a bunch of studios that did well. Nier2 did well. GrandBlue is kinda guaranteed. TF and TMNT kept the lights on. BayoPC did well. I'm sure vanqPC will as well. They're probably not rolling in it, but they're fine. The biggest hurt was SB, but they still were payed monthly for work, it's the lost productivity and opportunity that hurts in particular.

I highly doubt platinum got to keep the assets. That's not how business works. I also highly doubt MS is continuing SB, I think that's a rumor due to them renewing the IP/tm license, which all companies do to not get embarrassed by someone stealing the name.

Actually, all the games they weren't commissioned to make were funded and are owned by SEGA. So they're either paying for development costs themselves, or now that they have more very well received projects under their belt they were able to get a better deal with SEGA (they haven't done a deal with them since 2012).
