I think not. Having a low sensitivity is important for maintaining accuracy. A low sens requires that you move your entire arm for emergency flick shots, so the cushion might just get in the way.

It's just how I am, ever since I had a hand me down mousepad from my sister with Lisa Loeb on it to use when I got a computer in my room, she was the very first thing I google searched. My parents caught my almost immediately, and took away the computer for a half a year (a lifetime to my tiny mind).

However in the commotion I was able to claim my prize. Lisa Loeb sitting there in the sexiest dress my inexperienced eyes I had ever seen. For a year and a half her flat form and a gameboy with tetris were all I had to comfort me. Lisa when I was lonely and Tetris when I was board.

However, I found that because of Lisa's blocky nature that I would find myself interested in pausing for a different kind of handheld. Whenever I played Tetris, or had to deal with square objects, I would feel my raging nydus worm slam against the barrier keeping it at bay instantly. This fetish also extended to mouse pads of non square sizes, I had to switch to console gaming early in my life because having a mousepad under my hand would drive me insane before a round of counter strike was even over. Valve practically made the Steam controller for me and I've returned to PC gaming since it came out.

The more mousepad shapes I see though, I also start to become aroused by those shapes too. Circles do it pretty bad for me now and rectangles might as well be squares.

I bought a dodgy quality one from ebay for like £5, its pretty comfortable but the material is wearing out like crazy after a few months - the dark patchs are where my wrist and mouse have worn it away. Its also impossible to clean properly.
