I can't blame people for assuming he's 35+ because of his style, I personally saw him being 30, but it's also completely realistic for him to be 25. What is it about his head that makes him look older? He has normal albeit dorky hair that is not gray, and if you took away his mustache he would have a baby face. A 25 year old can wear overalls and its possible to have a mustache like that much earlier than 25.

I feel a little bad for loving that movie after knowing the absolute nightmare it was for everybody involved. I'm also impressed that despite it all, the people working on it managed to make such a charming movie despite the asshattery from the directors, plus the story behind it just makes it all the more fascinating, but it also tells the exact opposite story of the movie having "a lot of heart put into it".

Still, I love that movie. I even went as far as to buy the steelbook bluray that was only released in Europe despite knowing there was a chance they bothered to region encode it so I wouldn't be able to watch it on any of my burgerland players. Sure enough, that was the case but I didn't even feel bad. Bummed that I can't watch it on blu-ray? Sure. But I'm still happy to have it as a collector's item because it's probably the only blu-ray release that movie will ever see and even the fact that it got one at all was a miracle.
