Nah its not impossible KH 1.5/2.5 were completely remade due to lost source code but I suppose those were much larger budget games guaranteed to sell a ton of copies. There are also remasters out there like the MGS HD collection that was made entirely by reverse engineering the PS2 versions.

I think the bigger issue is if sega feels the effort to port it is worth the payoff.

the only BC game I have played that had major problems was Reach, and that got patched.

Splinter Cell 1-4. I don't understand why the HD trilogy never came to Xbox 360, and I hear the Xbox version of Double Agent was better than the 360 version.

PS2 version of 1 or 2 of them actually had different missions, and I forgot which one, but one of the platforms had the version wit hconsiderably better stealth missions, I think it was the XB.

SC2 also used hardware shadow buffers that only the 3/4/FX Geforce series had and is hwy it';s not on Steam as you'll have no lighting and it's not in the HD collections

Same problems mixed with washed out colors and some missing lighting, plus some Elites don't even dual wield like they're supposed to, plus the multiplayer doesn't feel the same as it did on the Xbox. I also hope they put Halo 3 and 4 (yes I know 4) in Xbox One BC because both games have the same problems.

Not now, but back then an xbox was extremely powerful compared to a PC due to the hardware changes that were occurring back then, so it wasn't just due to optimizations.

PC still gives you HD resolutions, EAX 5.1 with reverb and multiple channels which long longer exists because of OpenAL with post XP OS' and Creative Alchemy is nothing like real hardware/driver support.

I seriously fucking doubt it, they've been trying to bury that thing ever since they named the latest xbox "one". They buried the console and discouraged developers from releasing anything on it after the 360 came out. They dropped production harder than a retarded ginger stepson. Of course it was ridiculously expensive and was sold at a huge loss, but us owners were left out in the cold while the PS2 and even the gaycube were still getting games.
