Super Mario Bros 1: A game I enjoy playing again and again and get almost the same feeling I had when I was a kid.
Sonic the Hedgehog 1: Tried to played it again last year after many years, got bored of it after 2-3 stages. Not the same feeling I had when I was a kid.
Anyone else like that?

I also always prefer Mario over Sonic but I never expected that Sonic wouldn't aged so well. Then again Sonic's main appeal was its flashy graphics and speed with gameplay coming in second place.

I've played and beat mario 1 so many times that I actually hate playing it now. I get literally zero fun out of it.

Every Sonic Advance game had great level design. Even 3 before you mention it, the only issue was the acceleration change.
