I played the story, did most of the Momentos missions, obviously spent a ton of time with my confidants, and never spent a day not doing something. I also skipped zero dialogue my first playthrough. They are, though. Persona 3 came years after Persona 2 and before the series got as popular as it is now. Persona 4 released on the PS2 when the PS3 was already released. This is the first time a Persona game has released with it's current level of popularity+on a relevant console. Of the people I know personally who played Persona 5 there's only one other person I know who played a previous Megaten. One of them flat out refuses to go back to P4 too, which is shame since it's probably a better game.

Aside from what I just said though I agree that it's really hard to replay this game, I wish I could skip the entire first palace.

The combat is excellent and you can commit as many free days to combat as you like. For the average playthrough I'd say the dungeon stuff is roughly half the game, with the other half being story and the real-world stuff.

This particular Persona is more about exploring the city rather than the school stuff, but the school stuff is prominent early game. Outside of dungeons you'll be spending more time downtown than anywhere else.

Why is Yoshitsune so obscenely OP in persona?
I mean he has his own signature move that is the strongest skill in the game bar none.
Which is strange since the only other personas that have signature skills are personas that already had signature skills in mainline smt.
Did they accidentally make him OP as fuck or was it intentional?

Nier is overall the best though, but also the shortest

What's a good shortish game to play between longer titles?
Going through Yakuza 0 atm, and I have both Nier, Horizon and Persona 5 on my more immediate backlog. But I think I'm going to get burned out if I play all these long ass games in a row.

dont do any of the shit activities to raise stats like batting or fishing, buy the best fertilizer for your plant and always check it at night for kindness, every sunday go drink the juice for an extra stat for free, only study at the dinner during the rain, read books only on the train, eat hamburgers for guts once you max takemi, do SUN and DEVIL for charm, never wash your clothes, do curry or make lockpicks in the late game, make kawakami do it.

The most important S.link is chihaya's level 7, say you can hang out with yusuke or futaba but only futaba will level up, do social affinity with yusuke and then hang out with futaba, she works like the shrine except it uses money instead of time

Also gather as many mementos requests as you can to minimize trips and call kawakami at night

thats all the habits i remember, i had like two weeks free at the end, went to the gym and fishing everyday, didnt manage to get the most expensive fishing prize

Yeah at rank 7 is when you get the confidant bonus from her. Rank her up one and finish Temperance. If you knuckle down you should be able to get the more important confidants to max before the end of the game.
