The problem has been the guests. Mike and Gootecks by themselves are great, and they're also really good when they have someone on who's funny on their own, like the three you mentioned. Especially if they're good at throwing shade on Mike, like Floe and Combofiend.

But they've been taking on a bunch of people who just aren't as funny on their own, and it brings the quality down.

Pro talk was fine, yes. But everything how the online play is handled in SFV just doesn't fit with the style of show EA was. SFIV allowed you to pick your character before every game like in the arcades and you found games really fast, making it the perfect format for this show
Even Gooey was entertaining when he played stuff like Dhalsim and T. Hawk, shit you never even thought he'd play. In SFV they only play one character every single match, with Mike being an exception with playing almost two characters
