Adrenaline is better in PSP and PSX compatibility but since it's an emulator there's a slight input lag but better graphic options. ARK2 if you don't want to play PSX games and don't want the input lags and just run ISOs from the menu. Both can be installed quickly with their respecive easy installers. Adrenaline has a specific ISO folder in the memory card root named epsp like the PSP iso folders. ARK2 iirc can scan for ISOs so they can both share the same folder.

Playing Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX and Way of the Samurai on both. Adrenaline tend to botch my consecutive low punch inputs to a super while I don't have any problems on ARK2. I only have a 4gb card too and that's not a big deal unless you're an autist and have to switch between games every 5 minutes. A 4gb card is enough to hold 1 big plus a few small ones, sometimes I even manage to put like 5 games in the card before realizing that I won't be playing the other 4 in a long while because I like to dedicate to what I'm playing at the time.

Also, keep in mind that you can use the ur0: partition on the 1000 vita(2.5gb) and 2000(1.5gb) to store and play PSP, PS1 games and roms for emulators so even if you're limited to only 1 vita game you still have a shitload of games to play that way.

Also, you can trim down the size of some games by removing unnecessary files like english and other language voice and video files, and every game comes with digital manual, usually between 20 to 80mb that you can delete too to save some space. An example of this would be Borderlands 2 that is a whopping 5gb game with all of the DLC but if you delete the alternate language files and manual you can get it down to 3.5gb. Recently I got Superdimension Neptune vs Sega Hard Girls down from 1.6gb to just 1.0gb.

If it was overheating the same would happen with every other memory card size, but it only happens with 64GB cause they have a low ammount of writes, around 800k when the games have 3k-6k files each.

This, there is some serious sony defending. I love my vita but the Memory Cards are prone to failure.

I had a 64 gig card, I never filled it up. I did take lots of screen shots and deleted them after moving them to my pc. Died in a year an a half never having filled it up. Only with the rewrites and writes of taking screen shots. Thankfully I bought mines on Amazon and got a 2 year warrenty. That's why so many people have complaints of games not launching, corrupted data, games with longer than normal load times, games crashing constantly when everyone else don't have problems ever with that game, memory management showing your games falling under "other" instead of game, and having to rebuild database frequently to temporarily relieve the issue but always having it persist shortly thereafter..
All those things usually precede a memory card dying and are caused by bad sectors. I know because I had 2 64GB cards die and neither of them lasted more than 2 months. The second one I didn't even fill past the 40GB mark so it had nothing to do with write cycles.
All memory has limited write cycles, but there's no way it'd be that different between 2 different sizes that the issue would only pertain to one size and not the rest of them.

The Snes emulator on the PSP is a massive turd, the Vita has an almost flawless Snes emulator and not only that, it's native resolution which makes the game look much better. The only emulator that is slightly better on the PSP is the gba one and even then the Vita emulator has much better accuracy than the PSP one.

The Vita library is much better than the PSP once you consider you can play EVERY PSP GAME on the Vita. Not only that but some of the big games like God Eater Burst and 2, Toukiden Kiwami, Danganronpa got remastered on the Vita with exclusive additional content that you won't be able to play on your PSP. The Vita is by far the superior console, it's more expensive but you get much more than you're paying for if you consider the difference in price between the two handhelds.

Again, you can play everything the PSP has plus upgraded ports of PSP games with additional content and on top of that the vita also has a larger overall library and the games on the vita play better too. Compare Wipeout on the PSP with the Vita one, compare any musou on the PSP with the Vita, any FPS on the PSP with the Vita and you'll see the difference.

There's no reason to get a PSP over a Vita unless you're poor and really can't afford to pay a little extra for the better console.

Is there any proof that PSP games run better on the Vita?
I've noticed it offhandedly but I'm not sure why.
I force 333MHz clockspeeds on both my PSP and my Vita w/ Adrenaline. However, the custom home plugin I'm using reports that the PSP is still running at the game default (222 usually) while the Vita always reports 333.
So I'm not sure if I'm being lied to or the Vita is just plain better.

That's true but in the case of Bilinear Filtering on the Vita that's perfectly fine because the Vita resolution is an exact 2x the PSP resolution and the expanded image makes the game look pixelated and the filtering not only fixes that but improves the quality when compared to a real PSP. This of course only work for 3D games, 2D games looks worse but then again the majority of games on the PSP are 3D.
