Just started today, got to the first boss. I'm about 3/4 health and the fucking first boss one-shoots me and have to retry since the fucking beginning of the game.

But why? There's no point. You can change difficulty at any time. I spent 3+ hours on the prologue because I first jumped into the game on Hard without having any previous experience with the series. I eventually gave up and put it on normal. The last hack and slash or w/e that I've played was Onimusha on the PS2. What's retarded is that there's no saving during the prologue so you spend 30 minutes getting back to where you were if you die. On normal, even before you finish toobee run, game becomes too easy. I got so bored during 9s run that I stopped playing the game for weeks until I came back and forced myself to finish it by turning up the difficulty. Game does get better after 9s run though.
