This game is incredibly frustrating.

It's not the difficulty of the enemies, it's the inability to fucking know what you should be doing, or where you should be going in a reasonable manner, because the environment never clues you in and there's not even a map button, you need to look around and find a map on the wall. Add in security doors, power circuits that don't show you what the fuck you even opened, etc. Oh, a tiny person-width hallway! Which of the fifteen of these am I in currently, I can't remember because they look completely fucking identical.

Add in the goddamned shitty character lighting that promotes ambience above actually SEEING SHIT and I had to stop playing at some points

It's just needlessly obtuse constantly. Still, parts are fun, and I don't regret the purchase.

Literally only one part of the game is anywhere near complicated like you described and thats because its a hub that connects to 4 other areas once you unlock all the shortcuts.

It's because the maps are folded in on themselves so well. They feel big when you're running through them, but at the end you realize it's just a lot of areas folded into a smaller space. Really well done actually.

I've been using full liquidator and it seems to half the damage.. I dont think thats enough to make a fight in the poison all that enjoyable.

Get at lteast 9 heals and clear the area, then get the healstation at the top of the stairs to refill for the fight without respawning the enemies

Use liquidator and you can survive with extra healing if you know how to take them down efficiently.

I'm done with this game. Even with 200hp everything kills me in one or two hits. It's hard to see what the enemies will do cause most of the maps are too dark and the flashlight is useless.

Every fight is the same: attack, dodge back, jump and repeat because enemies can ignore stagger and throw unavoidable quick punch that takes all my hp.

I won't even start how all the weapons and armors are shit and there is barely any choice and all the levels look the same.

At what point? I'm at the area with the shield drones and the heavy guys with toxic granades and those fuckers can one shot me while i dance around trying to get close to that drone.

And the security guys can kill my with thir 2 hits combos if I fail to avoid it even once. Or they can shoot that shoulder stun out of nowhere.

And that jumping 3 legged robot, his jump or any of the quick attacks brings me down with one hit.

Also the game ends after NG+ I think, so no NG++ and so on.

I 4 shot most human enemies the whole game if I wasnt getting gear
Robots are suppose to be that way when you arent hitting the weak point, same with demons in das.

I kind of love how you fight construction equipment, just wish there was more variety honestly. Game would easily go from 5.5 to 6.5 or 7 to me.

Gameplay and getting new gear is fun enough to keep me going though

Yeah some of those are bullshit, I had no idea what door I opened until I went through the whole place twice at one point.
Should have made the dead giveaway of the rep pipe actually fucking connect to the door or elevator. A lot of them were required to progress though so your probably good.

The Heavy-Light-Light combos with the Firebug throttle is pretty nifty, but does anyone know if there's a way to control which combo actually comes out? Is it just based on which bodypart you're targeting? I've had it do the fireblast with backdash and the twin hit with fire ring, it would be nice to be able to use them both on demand.

The combos are basically contextual on your previous moves.

From nothing there is always youre 2 base combos for weapons.

Sometimes your last move will "stay in the combo list", I use quotes becuase I dont know how to articulate this shit since I'm not a fighting game guy, longer than I noticed so a different move will come out than I expect.

You can also use that to chain some pretty sweet moves together though doing a different move out of a dash or lunge.

That or its all fucking a mess and I'm retarded

Oh they are bigger, and way less corridoors somehow.

LotF had more space to traverse and felt like a a longer game and maybe even had more variety BUT it had the worst everything every. Content doesnt mean shit if its not good. Somehow they really made each area with great level design except maybe the first since its the very beginning and had to be easy. I think only having 1 checkpoint in each area and forcing the player to find shortcuts was a great idea.

Enemies have randomized gear so you can get stuff early or something, gear keeps getting hgher tiers till ng+++ and mk XX

Added super secrets, not average items. Able to open lvl 80 door if you dint before

Too early for anyone to know for sure though
