Not really, because this kind of mindset actually forces you to finish your games and don't buy shitty games you know you're not going to play. I laugh at all those people having over a hundred games on Steam when they will never actually perfect even half of them in their lifetime.

After finishing the first Titan Quest I started the anniversary bonus area but it was just too hard, enemies destroyed me instantly whereas before I was able to wreck everything.
I played a soldier/warrior build.

In particular the first escort quest you get to light the beacon, the skeletons just dealt too much damage.
