>Highest difficulty
>Nothing changed except enemies have more health and you less

He deserved better
Anything more and the average "gamer" woulnt be able to beat the game at all. There hasnt been a game thats felt like an actual challenge for a long time.
>enemies scale exponentially
>>377504853
>enemies level with you
>enemy levels off of you
>>377504853
>highest difficulty
>levels are now upside-down
>raise difficulty
>game gets easier
>highest difficulty
>enemies are total aimbots
>headshot as soon as you round the corner
>>377507080
>enemy levels off of you
more games need to do this
>>377507139
Name one (1) game.
>game raises difficulty setting
>there are less and less checkpoints, you take double damage, and all the health items are gone
>you can only access this in new game+
in total war this stuff drives me crazy
just through steroids a lot of agent functions become useless and other fun gimmicks become irrelevant
>>377507335
Skryim and most other TES games.
>Enemies become health sponges
>You gain significantly more experience from fighting them because they hit you more and you hit them more
>As such, each fight makes you far more likely to level up and have skill points than on lower difficulties.
>>377507335
stalker. your bullets will actually go more straighter faster and enemies actually die from being shot
>>377507494
It took me a long time to figure out, but Total War just isn't designed to be played off normal.
I went to higher difficulties with the expectation that the AI would get smarter, but they're just as retarded and the battles are less fun because they have flat health/attack bonuses.
Even putting Campaign above Hard is dumb because diplomacy basically gets removed from the game.
>>377507731
Yes, I hate that too.
You would think that you can expect more from such a big company.
At least we have mods for the higher intelligence.
>>377507243
>enemies level off each other...a lot
>>377507731
Its just not well thought out.
the only good bonus of higher difficulty is agressive ai thats about it
and there is diplomacy but when you are big so you are right its pointless at that point anyway
>Fighting a boss
>Team mate is killed by a boss
>Boss levels up>If anyone levels up, they restore health and mana too
>>377507335
Shadow of Mordor.
Even high level captains aren't hard to kill and drop better runes, so you wind up getting even more efficient at killing them. And losing is just a minor set back that also causes them to drop better runes. Honestly, the game could have benefited from being more difficult.
>highest difficulty
>enemies are invisible
>>377509528
I'll never complete REmake's invisible enemy mode.
>>377505864
Manic/Maniac build is fucking unkillable
>Higher difficulty
>You don't have less health, but your abilities and stats scale much slower
>New enemies, bosses receive new move sets
>Hidden extra megaboss if the game is beaten without dying
