Just because you have to memorize 10 different moves for every character, all which require you to perform a section of mozart, doesn't make it a good fighting games. The only good thing that comes from Street Fighter are the tourneys with all the black people in the back losing their shit. It's like going to the zoo, but with people.

Different people like different things. Even in fighting it's not like a majority of charge characters worry about DP motions. Lighting kicks inputs, half circles, 360's, etc. If you're friend can't do a dp motion then show him a character who doesn't have a dp motion, or just accept he plays a game that's radically different from whatever crap you're trying to shill to him.
