Not gonna lie this was also one of the ones which took me longer to beat than I'm comfortable admitting.

But yeah, as anon said, when the second one spawns run, when the third one comes out it will attack the other ones, then you get windows. It's scary and gets you stressed out when you think they just keep spawning but there can't be more than 3 ones out at the same time and they always behave the same way. Phase two is easy peasy if all you do is run and wait for that one long-ass combo that you get to backstab for free, just don't get tempted to ever attack outside of that and you can't lose. The boss is very very cheesable if you get a feel for it.

Funny, it was honestly one of those bosses that I thought could have been super cool but then was downright annoyed by how easily I cheesed it to death, doing nothing but run away until it did it's charging attack with the super long recovery. The pinwheel thing I killed so quickly I never even really got to see his moves.

But like there are other bosses I always thought were super hard that others seemed to breeze through. I think From does a good job of mixing up the bosses so that depending on your playstyle / equipment loadout / stats, no matter what you do, *some* bosses will fuck you over while some will be easier.

Pretty much. There's that comic with the big line of people saying which bosses are actually hard. DS3 also does a good job of tricking you into thinking the bosses are stopping a combo only to get one extra attack that will usually fuck you up.
Fucking Nameless King keeps fucking me in Ng++ because of it. It seems the fucker doesn't actually stop long enough to do a single attack.

Tips for Nameless in NG++?
I can kill the dragon without taking damage but as soon as the king fight starts, I survive for 10 minutes just dodging, never getting enough an opening to actually hit him.

How many boss fights does DLC 2 have? I've only fought that Demon boss before the Ringed City so far. And I would hardly even consider the Gravetendet a boss in DLC 1. It was just a knight NPC as well as a wolf enemy that could be fought elsewhere in the area. What a joke.

A boss is only a 'clone' if it uses the same attacks, Abyss Watchers doesn't use anything like Artorias' set. It's a very different fight, especially the timing. Artorias is aggressive but delayed, so it's like a feint that lulls the player into rolling too early. None of teh AW attacks are like that, they are just wide sweeping attacks that track better the further away you are but punish greedy attacks.
